Will the Boost Fin work on my board or kayak?

Yes! Our Boost Fin is designed to fit any surf or paddle board, thanks to the adapters we have created. It is also versatile enough to be used with single-person kayaks. If you're unsure which adapter to choose, simply send us a picture of your regular fin, and we'll help you select the right one.

How long does the Boost Fin last for Surfing and for SUP?

For Surfing, the Boost Fin has two switching modes: long boosts for paddling out and short boosts for catching waves. One fully charged battery is enough for approximately 2 hours of use.

For SUP, the Boost Fin offers three modes: Assistance (up to 60 minutes), Trolling (up to 45 minutes), and Wind (up to 30 minutes).

Do I need to purchase additional items?

The package includes the Boost Fin and a longboard adapter (US fin box), along with a remote control, charger, and mounting kit. If your board requires a specific adapter, you'll need to choose the appropriate one, which can be purchased separately.

What is the battery lifetime?

The Boost Fin's battery has a cycle life that exceeds 500 cycles. After 500 cycles with a 90% depth of discharge (DOD) charge and discharge at rated current, the residual discharge capacity remains above 80% of the nominal capacity.

How to control the Fin?

The Boost Fin has two buttons: one for Short Boost and one for Long Boost. A single press activates the motor, and another press turns it off. You can easily adjust each Boost parameter within the app to find the settings that suit you best.

The Boost Fin can be installed on any board in just 5 minutes, like any other fin. The standard package includes the Longboard Adapter, and we've created a variety of adapters to fit different board types, including FCS, Futures, Soft Top, SUP, kayak, and more.

The Boost Fin's powerful battery configuration boasts a 3500 mAh capacity, allowing for impressive session times: up to 100 minutes in SUP Assistance Mode, up to 70 minutes in Trolling Mode, and up to 40 minutes in Wind/Current Resistance Mode. This makes it perfect for surfers, SUP enthusiasts, and kayakers alike.
